Kevin Costner had almost found his perfect Western replacement for Yellowstone. However, after two years, it looks like the potential "replacement" has not snapped out of its state of limbo. Considering Yellowstone's high rewatch value, especially during arcs where Costner was around, the show does not necessarily need a replacement.
