A 2011 action film starring Billy Zane is scheduled to leave Netflix’s content library soon. The film is part of one of the longest-running B-action series, which began in 1993 and has since spawned 11 sequels.
Sniper: Reloaded is leaving Netflix very soon
Sniper: Reloaded will exit Netflix’s library on Monday, June 1, 2026 (via What’s on Netflix).
Claudio Fäh directed the film based on a story by Ross Helford and John Fasano. It is the fourth entry in the Sniper franchise created by Michael Frost Beckner and Crash Leyland.
Sniper: Reloaded follows Brandon Beckett, the son of the Marine sniper Thomas Beckett. As a sniper himself, Brandon is tasked to enter the Democratic Republic of the Congo to rescue a European farmer from a dangerous territory. During the operation, a highly skilled sniper ambushes his team, leaving several soldiers dead. With the help of Richard Miller, his father’s student, Brandon seeks out revenge for his team’s deaths.
The film’s cast features Billy Zane as Richard Miller, Chad Michael Collins as Brandon, Richard Sammel as Colonel Ralf, Patrick Lyster as Martin, Kayla Privett as Kelli, and Hlomla Dandala as Kyle, among others.
Sniper: Reloaded did not get a theatrical release. Instead, it was released straight to DVD & Blu-ray on April 26, 2011. Despite the franchise’s success, the film’s ratings are not favorable. On Rotten Tomatoes, it currently has a user rating of 34%. Meanwhile, on IMDb, it holds a rating of 5.4/10 based on over 9.2K user votes.
The franchise’s latest entry, Sniper: No Nation, was released earlier this year on April 7, 2026. It also sees the return of Tom Berenger, who plays Thomas Beckett, the protagonist in the majority of the Sniper films.
Alongside Sniper: Reloaded, Chris Pratt’s The LEGO Movie, Liam Neeson’s Cold Pursuit, and Dakota Johnson’s Fifty Shades trilogy are also exiting the platform the same day. Subscribers have a limited time to stream all these titles on the platform.
