An investigation into hate speech being spray-painted throughout downtown Niagara Falls has led to the arrest of a 71-year-old man. Buildings on Queen Street, Bridge Street and Zimmerman Avenue were targeted in March. Niagara Regional Police arrested a suspect Friday. He is charged with mischief under $5,000. Police said there could be other incidents that were not reported and are asking residents and businesses in the affected area to review video surveillance footage and report if they see vandalism occurring.
