Momoa neither confirmed nor denied rumors that Adria Arjona was playing Wonder Woman. He instead chose to compliment his real-life girlfriend. Notably, the actress has reportedly been cast in 2027’s Man of Tomorrow.

While speaking with ScreenRant, the Dune star, who is playing Lobo in Supergirl, was asked which DCU characters he wanted to cross paths with in the future. He responded, “Wonder Woman would be just as great.”

The outlet shared that they were “rooting” for Arjona to land the part of the Amazonian superheroine. Channeling his playful side, Momoa replied twice, “She’s hot,” to which the interviewer agreed.

Moreover, in the interview, Momoa entertained the idea of Lobo meeting Hawkgirl, portrayed by Isabela Merced. Referencing their previous collaboration in Sweet Girl, where they played father and daughter and which also featured Arjona, he responded, “Oh yeah. It’d be fun. I like Hawkgirl.” The 46-year-old added, “I mean, obviously, yeah, I’d love to, just because we’re actors.”

Furthermore, Momoa expressed interest in Lobo sharing the screen with either David Corenswet’s Superman or Batman.

There have been conflicting reports about who Arjona is playing in Man of Tomorrow. Some outlets, like The Hollywood Reporter, have reported that her role was a mystery, with uncertainty about whether it was Maxima. Meanwhile, others, such as Deadline and Variety, have suggested she landed that specific part.

However, James Gunn has not yet officially confirmed who the Andor star is essaying. Previously, on Threads, he shot down the report suggesting that she had been screen testing for Maxima alongside Marisa Abela and Ella Purnell. However, one year ago, while speaking with Extra, where he touched on his longtime friendship with her, he acknowledged that she would be a “great” Wonder Woman.
