Disney released some of its greatest movies during its Silver Age, but not all achieved perfection. Disney's Silver Age is one of the studio's most fascinating periods. Spanning from 1950's Cinderella through 1967's The Jungle Book, it marked Disney's recovery after the financial and creative struggles caused by World War II. While these films sometimes live in the shadow of the studio's Golden Age classics and the later Disney Renaissance, they helped establish many of the storytelling and animation techniques that audiences still associate with Disney today.
