Animate Will Sell Sega Games Merchandise Worldwide in 2026

Sega and its subsidiary Atlus announced the two will collaborate with Animate, which means the Animate domestic and global stores will release merchandise of developers’ game brands for a year. People will be able to buy goods, play demos of games, check out displays, and visit cafe collaborations for eight popular franchises in over 140 locations around the world, including ones in North America. Everything will start to kick off on June 6, 2026,

The eight games that are part of the Sega, Atlus, and Animate collaboration are:

Angry Birds Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage (Project Sekai) Like a Dragon / Yakuza series Metaphor: ReFantazio Persona series Puyopuyo Sakura Taisen Sonic the Hedgehog

Animate also shared a more detailed schedule, but the start and end dates differ depending on the location of the company’s storefront. Here is a more detailed schedule for the Sonic the Hedgehog events, as this is coming up soon:

The Animate, Sega, and Atlus collaboration will begin in Animate stores worldwide in June 2026.
