Some of the best sci-fi movies have one thing in common: They have mind-bending time-travel plots. Earlier this year, the indie gem Redux Redux emerged as a hit on the PVOD market thanks to a stellar 97% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. One of the best sci-fi movies of the 2000s was the Spanish head-spinner Timecrimes, while the decade that followed delivered Rian Johnson’s Looper. It isn’t as common, however, for mega-budget Hollywood productions to rely on plots that might be considered too complicated for mainstream audiences. But one movie found a fine balance between time-travel shenanigans and popular accessibility, and it is currently available to stream in the United States on Peacock.
