Since its release back in 2015, Bloodbornehas become known as one of the greatest video games of all time and is widely regarded as FromSoftware's magnum opus. Set in the Gothic, Victorian-inspired city of Yharnam, the story follows the Hunter as they uncover the secrets behind a blood curse that has caused residents to turn into monstrous beasts. However, although Bloodborne looks and sounds like a simple RPG on the outside, it contains multitudes, delving into feminine-coded themes such as forced or unwanted pregnancy, menstrual cycles and the horrors of womanhood, whilst also exploring the one message that FromSoftware has taught us over the years: don't give up.
