Canadian MPs plan Taiwan visit as Beijing says trip ‘hurtful’ to ties

MP Judy Sgro, chair of the Canada-Taiwan Parliamentary Friendship Group, told The Canadian Press Liberal and Conservative MPs will visit the island the week of Oct. 11.
