Chicago Med Season 11 Finale Could Have 5 Major Deaths

Chicago Med Season 11 is headed towards an eventful finale, and several characters could end up fighting for their lives. The hospital goes into lockdown, a gunman is loose inside the building, and multiple doctors get trapped in life-threatening situations.

Who will die in Chicago Med Season 11 finale?

The Season 11 finale sets up one of the biggest episodes the series has done. At the center of everything is Dr. Hannah Asher, who goes into labor. During the lockdown, Hannah tries to balance her own labor pains while treating a high-risk patient named Olivia.

The situation becomes even worse because the hospital cannot safely move patients or bring in additional medical help. Jessy Schram recently opened up about Hannah’s shocking storyline ahead of the Chicago Med Season 11 finale.

Speaking to Soaps.com, the actress admitted she felt incredibly floored after reading the cliffhanger scene. She said, “I got the episode, and I saw that Hannah’s water breaks as the lockdown went active, and she was trying to lead this active delivery that her patient Olivia was within.”

“So I was floored when I read it and texted [showrunner] Allen [MacDonald] immediately, saying, ‘Hey, can I see what the next scene is so I understand how to play this and like, genuinely, just really need to know now what happens.'”

She continued, “I was really excited to get to play it. I think that it’s definitely a challenge to figure out to which degree you’re in your own early labor while somebody else is in labor.” At the same time, Dr. Dean Archer may face the biggest danger of all.

The promo shows a gun pointed directly at him after escaped inmate Wyatt Dupree remains loose inside the hospital. Showrunner Allen MacDonald warned that the threat is serious. “We know he has a gun, and he has a mission,” MacDonald explained.

He also confirmed that one of the series regulars ends up in “mortal peril” during the finale. The line immediately fueled speculation that one of the main characters could be in grave danger.

The finale also leaves open the possibility of multiple casualties because of the hospital lockdown storyline, across Hannah’s risky labor, Olivia’s medical emergency, and Dean facing the gunman.

Several characters appear to be in potential danger heading into the finale episode. NBC airs the Chicago Med Season 11 finale on Wednesday, May 13.
