Classes canceled at Chicago school after campus officer loses gun

Usually, having an armed officer at school sort of helps deter the whole school shooting thing. I'm not sure if that's the case here. They still haven't found the gun! Here's what happened. This happened just before school let out on Monday, so at least there wasn't much left of the day (I guess?).
