Colin Farrell’s 3 Favorite Christopher Nolan Movies Are Hard to Argue With

Veteran actor Colin Farrell recently shed light on his personal favorite Christopher Nolan films, and the list is hard to argue with. When asked the question, Farrell seemingly did not have a single answer, but what he said would make perfect sense for fans of the iconic director.

Colin Farrell has not one, but three favorite Christopher Nolan movies

During a recent discussion with Collider, Colin Farrell spoke about his favorite Steven Spielberg film, followed by his favorite film from Christopher Nolan.

He was asked the question about Nolan because the highly anticipated The Odyssey was on the way.

“I just thought Oppenheimer was perfect. I thought everything that Chris Nolan and his folks have… every creative waters and intellectual waters that they’ve swum in before, and sound design and the visual accouterment of film, and the performance and the writing, it all just came together,” Farrell said about his favorite Chris Nolan film, “Like when you see Star Wars, and then it goes like this? That was Oppenheimer. Everything just came together so perfectly.”

However, this was not his singular answer to the question.

“But I really enjoy The Prestige. That’s the one I go back to, man,” Farrell added, “I love The Prestige.”

He further added, “Or The Dark Knight.”

When the interviewer remarked that he had three answers, Farrell said, “Gold, silver, and bronze.”

When speaking about his favorite Spielberg film, Farrell also had multiple answers. “My son’s is Jurassic Park, which I love….But for me, in my later years, Close Encounters, like in the last 20 years, and in the first 25 years of my life, or whatever age I was, five when I saw it, or six when I saw it, E.T,” he said.

Meanwhile, Colin Farrell is ready to step back into Gotham as the iconic Penguin in the upcoming part of The Batman.
