The wizards, also known as the Istari, are an order of magical individuals in The Lord of the Ringstrilogy, a critically-acclaimed film series based on the original works by J. R. R. Tolkien. Tolkien actually wrote an enormous expanded universe, where he meticulously outlined dozens, perhaps hundreds of characters that have yet to appear on screen. Some of these wizards are included in that category, as only some of them have made the leap from page to screen.
