2026 has already been a year of ups and downs for Guy Ritchie, who experienced quite a run of success with his new Prime Video series, Young Sherlock. All episodes of Young Sherlock were dropped as a binge a few months back, and while there was some deliberation from Prime Video, the studio ultimately agreed to renew the show for Season 2, with Ritchie confirmed to return. Things took a nosedive recently for Ritchie’s latest action movie, In The Grey, which whimpered out of theaters after grossing less than $20 million at the global box office. The film, which also stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Rosamund Pike, has since gone on to debut on VOD platforms like Prime Video, where it’s become one of the most popular rentals and purchases around the world.
