James Bond fans are waiting in angst right now for Amazon to deliver some real news about the next 007 film that’s been in development for a while now. Practically nothing is known about the film at this time, other than sci-fi icon Denis Villeneuve is directing with a script from Peaky Blinders scribe Steven Knight — Villeneuve also has experience in other great crime thrillers like Prisoners and Sicario. Casting details about the film, including who is going to play the next James Bond, are still being kept under wraps for now. However, casting director Nina Gold has stated that Amazon is looking for an actor who “oozes sex appeal,” and is also young enough to carry the franchise for three or four films. Some fans think they’ve found the perfect actor to suit up as the new 007, though.
