Whenever people talk about great live-action anime adaptations, the conversation almost always starts with Netflix's One Piece adaptation. That makes sense, as the series finally broke the curse that had haunted the genre for years. And with season 2 topping Netflix again following its March 2026 release, it has become the standard every new adaptation gets measured against. But it’s far from the only Netflix series that got it right.
