Despite the release of the big-budget Netflix series Man on Fire, a holdover hit with far less cultural cachet is continuing to dominate the streamer's viewership charts. Man on Fire, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, is an action-packed update of the cult classic starring Denzel Washington,released over two decades ago. The seven-episode series is positioned as a way to attract viewers who enjoy shows such as Reacher and The Terminal List on Prime Video. Man on Fire has undoubtedly been successful so far, claiming the number one spot on the Netflix viewership charts worldwide. Domestically, however, it's another story.
