It's quite funny. Taylor Sheridan's TV empire has become so vast that, even when shows aren't technically part of the Yellowstone universe, it feels like they're either circling the same wagon or nearby in their own highly similar homestead. There are usually complicated men, brutal and rugged scenery, and old wounds that need dealing with. The reason this particular series always stood apart from the rest of Sheridan’s Western output is that it’s not built around a Dutton, a ranch war, or neo-Western politics. And that change is something Netflix viewers have been gobbling up.
