Thanks to the sensation that was Game of Thrones, the fantasy genre is more widespread than ever. While some of these recent fantasies have become immensely popular, others have been unfairly forgotten. Netflix, in particular, has tried its hand at a few such series, with results ranging from five seasons of The Witcher to the beloved, but too-short Shadow and Bone, to the largely ignored The Letter for the King. This 2020 series deserves more recognition than it receives, despite being short-lived. Consisting of only six episodes, The Letter for the King is a low-commitment binge-watch that fantasy fans of all ages can enjoy.
