The term "Netflix Original" is something most movie fans are more than familiar with. However, a smaller portion may know about the movie that started it all. Beasts of No Nation is a 2015 war drama which views conflict through the eyes of a child, in a way few films have dared. Bafflingly ignored by the Academy, the film has slipped from public memory in the decade since its release, but deserves a place at the top of your watch list.
