Netflix decided to zero in on the original Chugong web novel almost a year ago, which went on to become one of the biggest Korean fantasy-action exports of the last decade. However, since then, the live-action adaptation has been moving in that frustrating “big project, little public movement” space. Netflix seems to be finally pushing the gas pedal on that now.
