New FFVII Revelation Sephiroth Voice Actor Revealed

Following the Final Fantasy VII Remake part 3 Summer Game Fest 2026 announcement, Travis Willingham shared that he is the new English voice actor for Sephiroth for FFVII Revelation. Previously, Tyler Hoechlin voiced the character in the Crisis Core: FFVII Reunion remaster, FFVII Remake, and FFVII Rebirth. 

While this is Willingham’s first turn as Sephiroth, we have heard him perform as a voice actor in Final Fantasy and even FFVII games before. His major role in the series was as Ryid Uruk in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. He also voiced some minor characters in the original FFVII Remake. He’s also appeared in other Square Enix titles, as he plays Aced in the Kingdom Hearts series. Three of his most established and ongoing roles are as Knuckles the Echidna in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Guile in Street Fighter, and Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist.

This is one of two recent big bits of FFVII Sephiroth news. The original version of the character got a new Omega Style costume and weapon in FFVII Ever Crisis. That banner is live until June 24, 2026. It’s tied to the final part of the in-game Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII event. There’s even a trailer showing the sword and gear off. 

Final Fantasy VII Revelation will come to the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in Spring 2027, and the FFVII Remake and Rebirth entries are available on all four of those platforms now.
