New Sports Series Beats The Boys, Claims Top Streaming Spot

The Boys no longer holds the top spot on Amazon Prime Video‘s streaming charts. The superhero show now comes in second behind a new hit sports series. Notably, The Boys is currently airing its fifth and final season. The series finale airs on Wednesday, May 20.

Off Campus claims top spot on Prime Video charts

The teen romance hockey series Off Campus has replaced The Boys at the top of both the overall chart and TV show chart on Prime Video as of May 19, according to FlixPatrol. The Boys currently occupies the second spot on both charts. The other entries on the overall top 10 list are Citadel, Regretting You, Spirit of the Game, Bang, Despicable Me 4, Invincible, Good Omens, and The Equalizer.

Meanwhile, Citadel, Invincible, and Good Omens make appearances on the TV list as well. The rest of the shows on the chart are It’s Not Like That, Academy of Country Music Awards, The House of the Spirits, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, and Fallout.

Notably, the data from FlixPatrol isn’t necessarily complete. However, it does offer a broader picture.

An adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s book series of the same name, Off Campus debuted on Prime Video on May 13, 2026, with all eight episodes of its first season. The series has quickly become a favorite with Prime Video subscribers and currently has a 96% critics’ rating and an 89% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

In her review for Variety, Aramide Tinubu wrote, “Encompassing all of the tropes of an opposites-attract love story, Off Campus isn’t reinventing the wheel, but it’s still an interesting ride.”

The plot of Off Campus revolves around Ella Bright’s music student, Hannah Wells, and Belmont Cameli’s hockey captain, Garrett Graham. Their fake relationship gradually turns real as the series progresses. Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, and Jalen Thomas Brooks also star in the show.

Eric Kripke adapted The Boys from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book series of the same name. The show premiered on July 26, 2019, to critical acclaim.
