We can’t imagine a world without Rick and Morty, and fortunately, we won't have to for the foreseeable future, as the Adult Swim show was renewed all the way to Season 12 in 2024. Over a decade ago, the series set a new standard in adult animation, and if you have yet to jump into this multidimensional chaos machine, then there is no better time to do it, since you're guaranteed episodes at least until 2029. It's no surprise that networks want to keep this grandpa-grandson duo around because the show is a masterclass in extremism, as each season pushes the boundaries of creativity and imagination while also being sneakily devastating and hopeful. It blended absurdity and emotion to a magnitude that felt fresh in the world of adult animation and now shows no signs of stopping, thankfully.
