Paul Bettany, Robert Downey Jr. & Tom Hiddleston Unveil VisionQuest Teaser

Marvel stars Paul Bettany, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Hiddleston offered fans a tantalising glimpse at the next chapter in Vision’s story during a major Disney presentation. The trio took the stage together to tease what lies ahead for the highly anticipated Disney+ series, VisionQuest.

VisionQuest gets first look and teaser at Disney’s Upfronts presentation

Marvel Studios revealed the first teaser for VisionQuest at Disney’s Upfronts presentation on May 13. The studio confirmed the Disney+ series will premiere on October 14 later this year. Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hiddleston and Paul Bettany took the stage to tease the upcoming Marvel slate.

The teaser showed Bettany in his human form as he watches Vision’s memories play out like a film. The series picks up with the White Vision after S.W.O.R.D. rebuilt him following the events of WandaVision. He now possesses his memories without having lived them and struggles to regain his emotions.

James Spader returns to voice Ultron and also appears in human form throughout the footage. Spader’s Ultron taunts Vision in the teaser, telling him about Tommy Maximoff by saying, “It’s a boy!” Tommy, also known as Speed, briefly appears in the footage as well.

Bettany previously teased the show’s unique premise in an earlier interview. “One of the things that’s fun about that is that we finally get to see what it’s like inside Vision’s mind, and it’s more cluttered than you would think,” Bettany said. He added that Vision has been saving and copying the AIs to keep them alive inside his head.

The cast features Paul Bettany as Vision, Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff and James Spader as Ultron. T’Nia Miller plays Jocasta, while James D’Arcy returns as J.A.R.V.I.S. and Orla Brady stars as F.R.I.D.A.Y. Emily Hampshire portrays E.D.I.T.H., with Todd Stashwick as Paladin and Faran Tahir as Raza. VisionQuest serves as the long-awaited conclusion to the WandaVision trilogy on Disney+.
