If there’s one thing that’s a must-have when the weather heats up, it’s ice cream.

But for summer 2026, the classic dessert is getting a makeover, courtesy of Pepsi – and it’s going to be sippable.

The iconic soda brand has just unveiled a new range that’ll be hitting shops in the UK, inspired by popular ice cream flavours.

There are three new options to choose from, including one that fans have spent several years begging the beverage brand for.

What’s in the new Pepsi ice cream range?

The three Zero Sugar drinks come in either Salted Caramel, Raspberry Ripple, or Cherry & Vanilla flavour options.

The raspberry one will likely prove incredibly popular, as Pepsi fans have been desperately missing Pepsi Max Raspberry, which was discontinued back in March 2024.

Some hailed the raspberry-flavoured fizzy drink as ‘the best ever flavour’ and ‘delightful’, and while this new one isn’t exactly the same, as it’s got a slightly creamier taste to it, it’ll likely fill the void left by its predecessor.

When do the new drinks launch?

The full Pepsi ice cream flavour range is launching exclusively in Tesco, from May 18.

The Cherry & Vanilla Ice Cream Flavour and Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream Flavour will be rolled out in other stores nationwide from July 14 onwards.

However, Salted Caramel will only be available in Tesco, so that’s where you’ll need to head to get your hands on that particular limited-edition drink.

For those wondering, the new range will be available to buy in four different formats – individual 330ml cans, an 8 can multipack, plus 500ml and 1.5 litre bottles.

Do they actually taste like ice cream?

When I heard Pepsi was making a Salted Caramel drink, it’s safe to say I was intrigued. The sweet flavour works well in coffee and hot chocolate, but I couldn’t imagine what it would taste like in soda.

But after snagging an exclusive first taste of all three new drinks, I officially have an answer… It tastes like someone has combined Pepsi and Biscoff.

Separately those things work well? Together? I’m not convinced.

Some people will definitely love this drink, but for me, it was just too strong a flavour. It vaguely reminded me of root beer, only sweeter, and I couldn’t manage more than a few sips.

The Raspberry Ripple one was much nicer, although quite artificial tasting – more blue raspberry flavour than the real thing.

It’s creamy, sweet, a little tangy, and very nostalgic. It reminds me of a retro ice cream float, so I definitely think Pepsi nailed the brief with this one.

If I had to pick a favourite, though, it would be the final one.

As a sucker for anything cherry-flavoured, I enjoyed Cherry & Vanilla the most.

It’s fruity, fizzy and incredibly easy to drink. It’s also impressively sweet for a Zero Sugar drink, so much so that I had to double-check I wasn’t drinking full-fat.

Unlike the other two, which offer something a little different and unexpected in terms of flavour, this one is definitely the ‘safe’ drink.

It’s not groundbreaking, it doesn’t taste like ice cream, but it does taste exactly how you’d expect it to.

If you’re a fan of Cherry Vanilla Coke or Dr Pepper, you’ll like this too.
