In the May 27, 2026, finale of Perfect Match Season 4, Netflix revealed Sophie Willett and Dave Hand as the winning couple of the season. The pair was voted the most compatible couple following their time together in Mexico.
“I said I wanted a red flag, and he definitely looks like a red flag,” Sophie said during the episode (via E!). “But he’s the greenest flag of them all, and he’s mine.”
During the episode, host Nick Lachey also announced that the couple had earned a “free honeymoon of sorts.” They got this through a special vacation prize. “We just want somewhere hot where we can both be little water babies,” Sophie said. Dave added that he was hoping for “a comfortable bed and other activities.” Sophie then joked, “Like snorkeling.”
“I just want to thank Dave, because he let me feel safe in a space that I haven’t had in such a long time,” Sophie said to the cast. “He makes me laugh, but he makes me feel safe, and I think that’s very sacred.”
Dave, meanwhile, said that he cared for Sophie “a lot.” Dave said, “Seeing her be herself and giving her a safe space, and she allows me to do that, that’s what a perfect match is to me. We do live very, very far away from each other, and it’s going to be super hard.”
Sophie lives in England, while Dave lives in Australia. “We’re going to get out of here and do our best and see where we end up,” he added while discussing the long distance between them. “I f**king traveled high and low to look for her, and I got her.”
