Prime Video Releases Just 1 Movie Next Week & It’s Among Pedro Pascal’s Best

Amazon Prime Video’s new TV and movie releases for the week of July 20 to July 26, 2026, include Pedro Pascal‘s animated science-fiction film.

Written and directed by Chris Sanders, it is based on the 2016 novel of the same name by Peter Brown. It focuses on an intelligent robot that gets stuck on an uninhabited island following a shipwreck. However, she decides to survive the harsh conditions and eventually bonds with native animals and ends up adopting an orphaned baby goose. The film features the voices of Lupita Nyong’o as Roz, Pedro Pascal as Fink, Kit Connor as Brightbill, and Catherine O’Hara as Pinktail, among others.

The Wild Robot opened to critical acclaim and currently stands at an IMDb rating of 8.2/10 and 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. Moreover, it became a success story at the box office and grossed $334.5 million worldwide. It won multiple accolades and was also nominated for numerous Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards.
