Rebecca Ferguson fans have had a lot to be excited about this year, and they didn’t have to wait long for her first project. Ferguson teamed up with Chris Pratt for the polarizing AI sci-fi thriller, Mercy, which bombed at the box office before being added to Prime Video. The film went on to have one of the biggest streaming debuts of the year, but it wasn’t enough to fully redeem its box office misfire. After a brief detour into the fantasy genre with the premiere of The Magic Faraway Tree (co-starring Andrew Garfield), Ferguson will return to the world of sci-fi later this year with the premiere of Dune: Part Three. Ferguson has tragically confirmed she will only have one scene in the sci-fi threequel, but that’s better than Josh Brolin, who has seemingly been left out of the film entirely.
