Ryan in a huge panic as he finds lifeless body in Coronation Street spoiler video

Panic strikes in Coronation Street when  Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) finds Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) collapsed at home.

The story that Corrie fans called from the start is finally here.

Just as Betsy is recovering from the bunny boiling ballad of Becky Swain (Amy Cudden), not to mention discovering the dead body of Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) at the wedding of her two mums, now the troubled teen is about to be hit by fresh trauma.

Chariot Hotel employee Ryan Connor has the nasty habit of stumbling in during the worst possible moment in other people’s stories.

He was the tragic victim of an acid attack intended for Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) from her stalker Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still).

Not only that, but the cheeky Cobbles chappy has also been caught up in Theo Silverton’s murder investigation, brutally assaulted in Carl Webster’s (Jonathan Howard) robbery, and most diabolically of all, forced to date local bunny-boiler Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown).

Now he’s forced to stumble upon another tragedy, when Betsy is rushed to hospital… and her mum  Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) is laying the blame squarely at the door of her daughter’s boyfriend,  Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne).

In this video sneak peak of an upcoming Corrie episode, we see Betsy’s distraught stepmother Carla Connor (Alison King) rush through the corridors of a hospital in a first-person shot.

A shaken Ryan meets her in reception, swearing that he had no idea what happened to Betsy and revealing that he found her on the kitchen floor. He adds that the tap was still on, so she must have collapsed.

Unable to comprehend, Carla recalls that she was fine that morning. In fact, she was laughing.

As Carla begins to babble,Ryan does his best to calm her down and promises to take her to Betsy.

Fans already know that Betsy’s life is about to be turned upside down by a shocking medical condition. An MRI scan will shed light on exactly what is wrong with her, while Lisa rages at Dylan as his dad Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) tries his best to defend his son.

Worst still, Lisa is about get Dylan arrested for what happened to Betsy. And Dylan is sure to fight back. But is he truly to blame?

One thing is for sure, Ryan’s going to regret that he ever got caught up in the middle of this…
