It has deep woody notes that come from the Ethyl maltol to provide a sweet, caramel finish, while the saffron, jasmine and amberwood scream pure opulence. 

When comparing the formula to Sundae’s Always Late, this affordable option is infused with a blend of dark cherry, jasmine, and ambroxan that, as you wear it, transforms into a more burnt sugary, caramelised odour to create a sultry finish that will have everyone chasing you for the name of the scent.

Sundae’s option costs just £14.99 for 90ml, whereas Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge will set you back £365 for 70ml, meaning you will get even more for your money.

This also means that it’s still small enough to slip into most handbags, ideal for on-the-go top-ups, whether you’re on your commute to the office, the gym or out with friends for dinner.
