Ten years ago, Makoto Shinkai premiered what could be argued is his magnum opus, Your Name, at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, where it became an instant classic. The first film in the legendary anime director's "disaster trilogy" was met with widespread praise for its unique, emotionally heavy take on a body-swap story that has already had a massive influence on the medium.
