1967 was arguably one of the most important years in music history. The year before, The Beatles had decided to stop touring. Their shows were becoming too chaotic, with crowds getting out of control, and the inability to hear themselves play was hurting them as musicians. So, they went back to basics, and the result was incredible. Their first release since retiring from live shows was their legendary album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and it was a masterpiece from beginning to end.
