The Best Streaming Service Costs Half as Much as Netflix (And That Isn't Changing Anytime Soon)

It's no secret that streaming prices are getting ridiculous. Most of the major streaming services have steadily increased their subscription fees over the last several years, while also introducing ads to the more affordable tiers to push users towards regular commercials. That has, unfortunately, always been the plan for these services, and us consumers are the ones who get the short end of the stick. Just look at Netflix, for example. The streamer recently enacted yet another price hike, this time bringing the most popular, ad-free version of the service to around $20 each month. At this rate, streaming is already becoming more expensive than cable, which was the biggest reason folks flocked to Netflix in the first place.
