The Boys has many spin-offs, but it quietly killed the one that would be its replacement. Vought Rising is the next spin-off of The Boys to be released, focusing on Soldier Boy as a superhero in the 1950s. This makes sense after The Boys season 5's ending, which spent a lot of time developing Soldier Boy, his past with other Supes like Bombsight and Stormfront, and the V-One running through these Supes' veins. Despite, or, possibly, because of, all of this setup for Vought Rising, another of The Boys spin-offs was left by the wayside in season 5: Gen V.
