The sheer lip trend is back – and this £14 Morphe lipstick is leading the revival

In the past year we have seen the revival of many beauty trends and products from the 90’s and noughties. We’re talking the likes of Y2K favourites such as MAC Cosmetics Studio Foundation and CK One perfume, with trends including graphic brows, spider lashes and more circulating their way back around.

Another has been spotted making its come back and that’s the ‘sheer lip’ trend. This is all about that barely there look that gained traction around the launch of the Clinique’s iconic Almost Lipstick in Black Honey that took the world by storm.

The new launch has been formulated with a double-locking system which includes a coloured layer that protects the lips and locks in the pigment meaning minimal transfer so that it lasts for longer, avoiding over application.
