That’s why I think that the fourth installment will become the show’s most compelling season for audiences. Compared to previous seasons, The White Lotus Season 4 has clearly leveled up in scale and scope, making it stand apart from the rest. Another intriguing part about the new season is that it will give us another satirical look at the film industry, which is something that I believe audiences have always been fascinated by. This was proven with the critical success of HBO’s Entourage and Seth Rogen’s Apple TV show The Studio. The latter actually has a similar film festival setting for its upcoming second season. It would certainly be interesting to see how different The Studio Season 2 and The White Lotus Season 4 would be in their respective depictions of the film industry during prestigious film festivals.

Even though The White Lotus’ most recent season also received positive reviews from critics, it was actually the show’s lowest-rated installment with an approval rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes.
